Options to Exclude Quotes and References Are Not Displayed in Assignment Settings

I am an instructor and I do not see options to exclude quotes and references when creating or editing a Canvas assignment.

Solution

This might be caused either by your institution’s policy or by Unicheck/Canvas integration issues.

Instructor:

Please contact your LMS administrator and let them know you would like to have these options available.

Administrator:

Go to https://unicheck.com/login, click K-12 & Higher Ed and log in to your Unicheck Admin account.
Go to Integration → Active.
To adjust instructor permissions, click Permissions under the relevant integration name.

Enable Turn off/on automatic exclusion of citations and/or Turn off/on automatic exclusion of references.

This will ensure that these options are available in Canvas assignment settings.
