Unicheck privacy settings allow to configure which student data will be displayed to instructors in the Unicheck Report.
These settings apply to Unicheck Online Report and Unicheck PDF Report.
To configure privacy settings for your Unicheck account, go to https://unicheck.com/login/education and log in to your Unicheck Admin account.
STEP 1: Click the Account Icon and select Account Settings from the drop-down menu.
Go to the Privacy Settings tab.
STEP 2: Configure privacy settings for matched papers by switching each of the options ON or OFF. Only instructors can view information about matched papers. Click Save Settings to save changes to default settings.
Matched papers are papers from the list of matched sources displayed on the Side Panel of the Unicheck Report (in the Library section under the MATCHES tab). These are the papers that were previously submitted by other students or directly uploaded by administrator or instructor to the Unicheck account.
If these settings are switched off, instructors will not be able to see information about other students’ papers that match papers displayed in the Document Viewer.
You can switch the options ON only if you tick the box under the legal notice to confirm that you accept the privacy policy.
Note: Data for matched papers can be displayed (settings are switched ON) in Unicheck API, Moodle, LTI 1.0, Canvas Plagiarism Framework integrations, and Unicheck standalone account. In Google Classroom integration, data for matched papers will always be hidden (even if the settings are switched ON).
